DEDICATED TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF DICKSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA DURING THE 20TH CENTURY
From the towns, villages and countryside they came to answer the call to duty. Many traveled thousands of miles to meet in battle the enemies of democracy, risking their lives - - many dying - - to ensure future generations of Americans a free way of life.

Who Put it Here?: Korean War Veterans of America, Charpter 3, Dickson; The People of Dickson County
Description of Memorial: Marble stone with wings, typical of many small county seats courthouse lawn memorials. Very nice touch of color, in the seals of the branches of service. Dedicated to all who served, but list of names is for those who gave their lives.
The back side has the sponsors, and such, but also has the image of a wooden cross top with a WWII steel helmet.
