This large shopping area serves the growing Stapleton neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are the resulting development after Denver's Stapleton Airport was closed when Denver International Airport opened. The old Stapleton was mostly leveled; the huge concrete runways recycled into new concrete with a temporary on-site cement plant; and a planned community of apartments and condos, starter homes and larger homes with mixed commercial is rapidly growing in this trendy area.
