On 4/28/10 President Obama visited the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center along with several bus loads of his supporters. According to the news accounts "The Quincy Herald-Whig reported that the tense moment happened when protesters, who were marching toward the location where President Obama was speaking, did not obey a Secret Service agent's orders to move to the other side of the street:"
You had to be there to know the truth, there was nothing tense about the Tea Party protesters and no one was marching towards the location the President was speaking. Most were senior citizens and a considerable distance from the civic center and no way a threat. Most people were shocked when they brought out the riot police.
