Adorable sculpture of a dad and young daughter (sitting on his shoulder) pointing at a star
Waymark Code: WMACW0
Location: Oklahoma, United States

In this sculpture, a young girl sits on her dad's shoulders, looking up at something. The dad is pointing up towards the sky, and the girl is looking in the same direction. The man's sleeves are rolled up to his elbow, and the girl is holding on to the man's neck/lower facial area. The sculpture is life-size, but you can only see the figures from the man's waist and up since the landscaping covers up the lower half of the piece. From the back of the sculpture you can see that the girl is wearing a dress with a bow at the back.
First Star is one of many outdoor art sculptures placed around town by the Edmond visual Arts Commission partnering with local businesses and individuals.
