House - This house was built in 1882 by David Nation at the end of the 1860 - 1880 boom period, when land prices in the city were at a peak. The last group of five cottages 301 - 309 Carrington Street, this house is an example of a detached workman's cottage built with load bearing bluestone and brick. The original inhabitants would have walked to work nearby in the city.

This is now a business, please take your snap from the footpath. The plaque is easily visible; do not enter the fenced yard.
