This lovely sign on Junipero Serra Boulevard is a work of art. The colors and size of the sign are eye-catching.

This sign can be noticed when taking the John Daly Boulevard exit from I-280 going North. It is on the right side as the freeway ramp merges onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Parking is available at the next right turn after the sign.
The sign is a long concrete wall. With its two wavy tops and multiple shades of blue following the contours, the sign makes one think of the nearby Pacific Ocean. A large metal seagull flying by casts its shadow and completes the image. The lettering of the sign is elevated off the surface, creating drop shadows on the wall. This sign is more of an artwork than other Daly City signs.
