The Edwin M. Griffin Nature Preserve Disc Golf Course is Spartanburg County's first disc golf course. Edwin Griffin had drawn up plans for this disc golf course but it took a Boy Scout group to make it a reality.

This was the Eagle Scout project for Cobb Howell of Boy Scout Troop #2. The course consists of 18 holes and is a par 72 rustic course, no metal baskets here. Edwin Griffin actually lives near hold #17.
