The mural on the side of the building is a representation of an Irish Pub in Ireland. It has weathered over the years. It appears the wall prep was either ignored or the bricks had to be remortared or the artist was going to create a weather-beaten look. It features a street scene of the Fadó Pub and a telephone box.

"Fadó is an Irish term meaning 'long ago'. At Fadó we are telling the tale of Ireland's rich and celebrated Pub culture - a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality and friendly banter. In the tradition of Irish Pubs today and long ago, it's the Irish spirit that makes a Fadó.

Fadó Irish Pub is located on Wynkoop between The Denver Chop House and Coors Field.

Our authentic Irish Pub was imported from Ireland, lock, stock and barrel. The interior is unmatched in Denver as far as the beautiful wood furnishings, the cobble stone floors and of course, the magnificent murals, depicting scenes in Ireland.

A great place to hang out and enjoy the best pint in Denver, and perhaps catch some traditional Irish music.

The craic is mighty when the music's going, or when one of the lads breaks into song, or when the banter is going on. The craic is mighty when the Irish are beating Holland on the big screen - live only in Fadó, or when the lads come down to watch Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or Man U first thing in the morning!

So that's what you can expect at Fadó. That's what we pride ourselves on. Craic. Loosely defined, craic is the Irish art of having fun, often against all the odds. What you may not know is that Fadó has some of the best authentic Irish food in the city … as well as a unique fusion Irish menu featuring many of the best flavors from around the world.

So check it out. 7 days. 11:30 to late.

A pub is an interesting place. Derived from the term public house, the pub has evolved from a speakeasy type atmosphere in small houses off George's Street in Dublin, to the splendid salute to Irish culture seen in so many of the worlds great Irish Pubs.

Fadó is no different. The warm Irish welcome, the welcoming fire, the perfect pint of Guinness, or the hearty grub which surprises your palate - it all combines to make you feel right at home. Fadó is also ready to host your special party - whether it's a wake or wedding, Christmas or Pass-over - give us a call and have your event in Denver's best Pub atmosphere.

Give us a shout, drop in for a pint - sit by the fire and tell stories of old, meet some old friends - or make some new ones. A pint of Plain perhaps? Or how about an Irish Coffee? Whatever your pleasure, we'll see you at Fadó." (from (visit link)
