The Malaysian National Monument (wm: WMABDE) is located near the centre of Kuala Lumpur. It is a large, bronze sculpture of soldiers in battle. Surrounding this monument on four sides (access via a walkway) is a fountain. The fountain contains a main feature and numerous water jets. The monument, including the fountain, was dedicated in 1966.
