In 1956 Pacelli High School was built at this location but in 1972 the school was moved to a new building about a mile away and the building became the new YMCA. The YMCA moved the main entrance to the north side of the building.
In 1972 Pacelli High School an all boys school merged with Maria High School an all girls school kept Pacelli's name and moved to Maria's location after extensive expansion.
