The Santa Fe Depot located at 409 W. Oklahoma Avenue in Guthrie, OK is a Contributing Building to the Guthrie Historic District. Built in 1903, this is a red brick depot, 185 ft. long with a two-story section at the center.
The depot originally had one of the popular "Harvey House" restaurants within, to service the passengers and railroad employees who came to the station. The depot housed passenger service, mail service, a news stand, the restaurant, and living quarters for empoyees, as well as offices upstairs.
Today, the building houses R & R Restaurant and Event Center, where you can get a good meal - anything from a burger to a full steak dinner. The event center rents room facilities with catering for local events. There is a small Harey House museum also on location.
