These falls are about 12 ft tall and cascade over layered sedimentary rock. This is Dunnfield Creek which comes down from Sunfish Pond. The general area is very lush, with Hemlocks, Beech, Ferns and other cooler latitude flora.
Directions: From the Dunnfield Creek Parking Area, take the white blazed Appalachian Trail east (uphill). You will come to the green blazed Dunnfield Creek Trail and take a right onto it.
