Once upon a time this sign which is now in Cashmere stood near the Blewett Arrastra on the Blewett Pass highway. One of the drag stones is on the ground next to the sign. To see the rest of the arrastra, you'll need to travel to the current Blewett historical marker and walk across the highway, step over the guard rail, and walk down to the creek next to the broken down stairway. It is at milepost 174 on Hwy 97. The actual arrastra is on the national register of historic places.
