The building itself is art! It was an old Episcopal Church, described as "Carpenter Gothic", that was built in 1889. It was moved about one block north, to it's present site at 7th & Madison sts in July 1970. It abuts Central Park, where the Episcopal Girls School & Chapel once stood. The park itself is filled with artwork for public enjoyment. I highly recomend this area on a warm sunny day, when you can spend time wandering the park and gallery.
