Built by the Episcopal church in 1889 at 7th & Jefferson. It was built using some salvaged materials from the Episcopal Girls School & Chapel that was located where Central Park is now. The style is described as "Carpenter Gothic". After the church built a new building on 35th st in 1961, it was sold to the Corvalis Elks. The Elks later loaned it indefinately to the Corvallis Arts Council. They cleaned and remodeled and had their ribbon cutting on January 26th, 1963. In 1970, the lot was sold to the Corvallis Gazette Times for their new newspaper office. The city donated the lot on 7th & Madison. The building was entered into the National Registry of Historic Buildings. This allowed them to receive a grant to pay for moving it one block North to it's present location of 7th & Madison. It was moved in July 1970, and was opened in 1972.
