Tower is on USFS Property and is accessed by hiking, bike or horse. Distance from locked gate to the tower is 1.6 miles. Moderate hike. Awsome views. Was able to find with no peoblem. Climbed tower to just below observation deck (Door was locked). Also found a weather station on top of mountain.
