The memorial is out front and to the left, near the intersection/curb. It is on an angle facing the intersection and is a gray, stone monument, perfectly square, set into a brick wall, free standing, in a bed of mulched, landscaped around. The three seals of the police, fire and squad personnel is at the top of the monument, before the inscription. Access is from the sidewalk and easily seen also from the street. Parking is available street side as well. This area is relatively safe, even at night.
The monument reads:
DEDICATED
To the Memory and Honor of Our
Police, Fire & Squad Personnel
Who Have Served and Are
Serving to Protect the Lives
And Property of Mt. Holly Township
At the bottom of the memorial is a Holly leaf, perhaps the symbol of Mount Holly. There is also a specific police memorial in the front of this building to the right which memorializes three slain police officers, two from this community and one from another community.
