As part of the long-term strategy plan for Bays Mountain Park, a ropes course was installed behind the Farmstead Museum. The construction on the low and elevated courses has been completed.
Information is now being published about the brand-new facility. It has two parts: Low Course Challenge and an Elevated Ropes Course (known as "The Hawk's Nest"). The Low Course is $5/person for ten group exercises requiring about 3.5 hours to complete. The Elevated Ropes Course is $25/person (must be 6th grade or older) for 2-2.5 hours and final run down the zipline. Current scheduling is weekdays as the park trains staff and works through the start-up challenges.
Bay Mountain Park has a $4 per car entrance fee (increased 7/1/2011) or become a park association member for year long access.
