Wonderful to look at at night through the windows but even more enjoyable to peruse up close inside. An article in the January 10th, 2010 edition of the Eugene Register Guard noted this about the collection.
"Those who would like to gawk at dozens of restored signs in one stop should swing by the storefront of the Mobile Glass Service on Front Street in Creswell — especially at twilight, when the signs are turned on — where owners Martin and Barbara Heymann have a vast collection that they’ve saved from the scrap heap over the years."

The owners of the collection seem to be happy to share information about the signs and artifacts in their possession. For example The Lone Pine Market is a sign from a former store south of Creswell on Highway 99. The Swell Motel sign is the comical remainder of a sign that once hung outside the local Creswell Motel. The neon beauty carrying the burger is from a former restaurant in Curtin Oregon. The animated propeller on the Airport Cafe sign is a wonderful example of neon artistry. The airport cafe was once located in Springfield Oregon and hails from a time when that city had its own airport. Walmart is in this location today. There are other signs as well. A great vintage neon Texaco sign, A&W, Johnny Oceans and more.
If you visit during the day remember your manners and ask permission to look around. Please be sure to ask if its OK to take photos before you take out your camera.
