This plaque was erected in 1962 by the Colorado Scientific Society and the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Its goal is to explain the observable geology and the formation of the Colorado Front Range. I took a 'panoramic' series of photos to illustrate the text of the marker. Tee marker is of cast aluminum and provides both a visual diagram and informative text about the geological history of the Colorado Front Range. There is nearby parking and a picnic area.
