Denver Fire Station #4 is visible from the office I use every two weeks when I provide chair massage to the staff of a company. On my lunch break, I greatly enjoy watching the huge ladder truck back into the station. This station is also a Safe Baby Haven where newborns may be given up 72 hours after birth. This station was built in 1973 under Mayor McNichols.

There are 29 fully staffed firehouses supporting fire and emergency calls within the city and supporting fire and emergency calls to the city's of Glendale and Skyline.
