When the Milwaukee Road Railroad came to Rock Valley in 1879, this bridge was built for trains to cross the Rock River. The rails were taken up in the 1970’s, and a popular multi-purpose recreational trail now crosses the historic bridge.
A ten minute walk on level hard surface trail leads from the parking lot to this historic bridge. It is wheelchair accessible.
