This is the oldest continuously used active volunteer fire company in the United States and apparently filled with ghosts and ghoulies. The fire company was organized in 1752 as Britannia Fire Company. The original firehouse sits next to the present firehouse building which dates back to 1892. Some members of the fire company contacted SJGR in reference to unexplained activity in the firehouse. They visited the firehouse on September 8, 2001 and found positive Electromagnetic Field readings that could not be traced out to natural sources. The team also encountered voices in various parts of the building.

In examining their pictures, there are a lot of creepy orbs and unexplained shadows which totally creep me out. The several times I have visited I never felt or experienced any anomalous activity. I closely examined my pictures and saw nothing unusual, probably because I was snapping in daylight.

Public access?:
Need to knock and ask fire personnel if you can go inside to visit.
