The school still stands where it was originally built in 1871.
It is still being worked on. The windows are boarded shut, to keep vandals out. But some work has been done on the inside to start the renovations Hopefully it will be opened and staffed by volunteers in the future.
We did not have the chance to enter the building while we were there visiting some friends, who live there locally.
It is located at the intersection of two country roads.
You can park at the side of the road and walk up to the school, and walk around it if you wish.
