Sherwood Park is located on the south side of Post Road just east of the Sherwood Elementary School. The park offers a place to engage in several recreation activities. The park has a baseball field, swimming pool, sheltered picnic areas, grills, benches, and a playground.
In 2010, following several instances of vandalism, three Girl Scouts from Troop No. 684 provided improvements and enhancements to the park, including rejuvenating the pool area, improving the playground and picnic pavilion, and refreshing the baseball field by power washing and adding an artistic design to the dugouts.
