Row Bridge is an old pack horse bridge. Very simply made and still used on a busy fell walking route.

The span is made from local slate and stones from close by. The rock around here is the same volcanic derivative. Materials would not have been a problem. Working them in to a bridge would be the hard work. Getting them here and then shaping to fit.
