The gazebo is constructed solely of wood, prefab and brought here courtesy of Cherry Hill Parks & Recreation Department. Once upon a time this area was home of a local school, called Erlton School. Now, it is called Erlton School Park. This part of NJ was called NJ until it became Cherry Hill, and this neighborhood became unincorporated. We have neighborhoods like this all over Cherry Hill, each still with their own identity but part of the collective.
The gazebo is down the hill from the parking lot. I often come here on the weekend to sit, relax or reflect. It is surrounded by landscaping and flowers and is a nice place to visit, especially with the kids.
