This Woodsman of the World headstone is located in Tecumseh Cemetery. The cemetery was established in 1879 by the Society of Friends (Quakers) who came to this area to begin mission work to the local Indians. The cemetery is located between Shawnee and Tecumseh on Highway 18. This is a large cemetery with many old markers.
This marker is in very good condition and easily readable. The inscriptions reads:
