Denver Cemetery was established in 1891. It is on the south side of Lake Thunderbird. When you head north on 108th Ave. from Highway 9, you will see the lake in front of you, and the cemetery is almost at the end of the road, on the right hand side.
There are approximately 600 burials here, including several Woodmen of the World markers. A very nice directory is at the cemetery's entrance, displayed in a wooden/glass case. This is such a helpful feature for visitors to the cemetery.
There are also many unique and handmade headstones here. The cemetery appears to be well maintained. Two entrance gates are on the west side, next to the gravel parking lot on 108th.
