The caboose was built in 1942, The caboose has been repainted in its PRR markings. It had also been numbered as Penn Central and Conrail 23086 (thanks to caboose9 for sharing this information). It is one of seven known class N-5C PRR cabooses remaining in PA in their original colors.
The windows of the caboose are heavily glazed, but the interior of the unit appears complete.
