Beautiful, shady, tree-lined town with mid 19th century roots. The center of town is Morrissey Park as all the main roads intersect here, and the town's churches, and public buildings are all within a stones throw as well.

After walking the streets of downtown Merchantville for a few hours I discovered this is a “Shade Tree” kind of community with trees lining every street, business and each park and playground. The shopping area on Centre St, & West & Park Avenues are all very quaint. I spied lots restaurants, grocery stores, specialty shops, and all sorts of other eclectic shops. There are hundreds of dedicated trees...everywhere! These dedicated trees enhance the natural beauty of this town.
The main streets in this town are Maple, Park and Centre. There is a town clock, a nice municipal building, some art here and there, several hundred + year old churches, a really cool structure where traffic cops used to stand to direct traffic and so much more. Merchantville is in Camden County. I often come here to attend Masonic Lodge. Parking is plentiful and if you ever find yourself nearby, this is a place definitely worth visiting.
These waymarks will take you on a random tour of the town, showing you a brief glimpse of what you can expect to find if you ever decide to visit.
