This current bandstand sits in a nicely landscaped town park. This gazebo is the second gazebo at this park site. The first was built as a bandstand for the Parkman Buckeye Band. The Parkman Buckeye Band formed in 1886 with 17 members. The band used this park and the former gazebo as its home for outdoor performances. The only current use for the gazebo appears to the hosting spot for the Santa sing along during the holidays.

The roof of the gazebo sports a different weathervane. It is a baseball player and has been dedicated to Parkman native Josh Yoder who died in an truck accident at 17.
