Though only 1.5 miles from start to end, the Red Dot Trail climbs 1300 ft to the top of Mt. Tammany. There are several scenic overlooks along the way to give the hikers great views. It is a good, invigorating cardio workout, so give yourself about 60-90 minutes to get to the top.
