The Town of Morrison is on the edges of Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Dinosaur Ridge and Lariat Loop Drive. The town itself is quite small, but features many small restaurants ans shops and caters to motorcycle riders who take the scenic route on the weekends. Parking may be challenging on the weekends and evenings.

The mural looks at Morrison history from American Indian Natives to the settling of European immigrants and the final construction of Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the artists who have performed there. A dinosaur 'tears' thru the mural near the left. A thorough article may be found at (visit link) .
