This mural explores Golden in the era of the 1910s. It shows the railroad, William "Buffalo Bill" Cody, historic landmarks, commerce on main street, streetcars to Denver and the School of Mines. The mural is painted on the side of the old Foss Drug (has gone out of business, but the nickname remains (
visit link) ). The mural appears to have been recently restored and has a clear glaze-type of protection. It is hard to photograph in its entirety as there is street parking and landscape in front of the stores side wall. The mural was created by muralist Robert Dafford (
