In the medieval center of Basel where most buildings are of the 14th century, the narrowest sideway still has another sideway, you can end up in a dead end alley and see this emblem. Hardly anybody has ever heard of the consulate of Lempuria in Basel, but nobody has ever heard of the country it claims to represent.
It's a rumor that this is the headquarter of a local carnival group, but nothing is certain...
