This memorial is at the center of town, literally. The three lucite covered marker of names is situated in the town's central rotary which the Lincoln Highway passes around. The memorials are next to one another in a kind of arc and are on the grass, which borders the edge of the brick paved center, which in the center of that is the town fountain.
The memorials are flush to the ground. Originally, there was just one, but as additional names were remembered or discovered, new markers with name lists had to be fabricated and installed next to the original. The marker reads Dedicated to World War II Veterans of New Oxford.
To get to the marker and the rest of the rotary, which is worth getting to, carefully park your car on the street and navigate to the center. Traffic was heavy on the Lincoln when I visited so be careful!
