Cette église a été construite par les résidents de Tewkesbury en 1957.
En 2005, la municipalité des Cantons Unis de Stoneham et Tewkesbury a fait l'acquisition de cette chapelle afin de préserver sa vocation et de protéger le patrimoine. On n'y célèbre maintenant que quelques lithurgies par année.
