On the southeast corner of E. Main Street and Philadelphia is a park called Celebration of Life Park. On its east side, a large mural is painted on the side of a two-story brick building. The mural indicates "Benson Park." It shows recreational life in the early 1900s in Shawnee.

There is a large tree with a treehouse-like platform, with children playing beneath it. There is a wooden walkway over water with a couple standing. On the water is a small boat with four occupants. All are dressed in Period clothing.
