The mausoleum is imbedded into the hillside on which it rests. It is in the shape of an elongated A-frame constructed of large gray granite blocks of varying shapes and sizes. The arrangement of blocks around the entrance forms a curved shape that mimics the shape of the green door. The name McCoy is located above the doorway in the structure's gable. Above the name is a Celtic cross on the roof.
