James Wolfe (2 janvier 1727, Westerham, Kent - 13 septembre 1759, Québec, Québec) est un général britannique. À la tête de la force expéditionnaire britannique, il remporta la bataille des plaines d'Abraham en 1759 qui entraina la chute de la ville de Québec et marqua le début de la fin de la colonisation française du Canada. Il fut mortellement blessé au cours de cette bataille.

At the head of the British Expeditionary Force, he won the battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759 and the downfall of Quebec City and marked the beginning of the end of French colonization of Canada. He was mortally wounded during this battle.
