This wooden sign can be seen at the western end of the village of Titchmarsh.

On the sign is the impressive church tower which dominates the village. A sheep grazes in a field and oak leaves are in the foreground. Overhead an old aeroplane flies past, a reminder of wartime years.
There is some fine detail in the carving of the sign. At the bottom the two village pubs are represented with the Dog & Partridge and the Wheatsheaf, split by a crown with 80 below.
