The Goldcrest (along with the closely related Firecrest). The Goldcrest is attracted to coniferous forests (no evidence of any of that round here) and has eggs about the size of a woman's small finger nail.
It is to be hoped that as building here - "exclusive apartments" - the builders strive to maintain the look of the high street and retain (and renovate) the sign.
