This Pou stands at the entrance gate to Te Huka Geothermal Power Station built on the Tauhara geothermal steamfield, on the outskirts of Taupo.
The Pou Te Huka commemorates the opening of Te Hula Geothermal Power Station on 1st July 2010. It was carved by Delani Brown, a local Taupo master carver.
