On this spot there is a church, a cemetery and a school that used to serve this rural area.
The priest does not live in the former living quarters, there is now a restaurant. The school is transformed into a visitors centre for educational activities concerning the environment.
The cemetery is still in use.
Overlooking the Guadalupe river and valley stands a big granite cross on a pedestal, probably dating from the 15th century.
