This beach is located in one of New Jersey's best State Parks, Island Beach is a barrier island and the Park contains over 3,000 acres of dunes, tidal marshes and estuarine areas. This particular stretch of beach is at beach access point #21 which has a new solar and wind-powered restroom facility. Most of the beach access points in the park have only about 2 dozen parking spots...so, the beach is fairly secluded. it is a short walk over a few dunes from the parking lot to the beach.
