Located on the ground of the Beaverhead County Museum complex, this boardwalk provides a sturdy platform for navigating between the many exhibits the organization has collected. Starting at the main museum and weaving over an entire city block to entice visitors to visit the log cabin, the schoolhouse that is being restored on site, the antique farm machinery, a sheepherder's wagon, and finally ends at the building that houses the Depot Theater and additional historical exhibits.
The boardwalk is decorated with the carved likenesses of branding iron symbols, making the boardwalk an exhibit in itself!
Approximate boardwalk length (feet): 775 feet.
What is the boardwalk over?: A grassy prairie type of field, which may not drain well.
Boardwalk material: Wood
