This quarter-sized bison statue is next to the entrance of the Pahaska Tepee (souvenir store and grill) on the path to William F. and Louisa Cody's grave atop Lookout mountain. The horn has felt so many hands it is polished.
While often called buffalo, these majestic animals are actually bison.
