Part of District 1 of the South Dakota American Legion, this post has a 2011 goal of 117.
Post 266 moved into their new building in 2006, after being located on the west edge if Tea.
The Post is open during the week and has three full time employees.
Blau-DeBoer post members are very active in the community and the community is a great supporter of the American Legion. They are located close to Sioux Falls to that makes for a few issues in keeping the lounge open on a weekly basis.
Various American Legion activities such as baseball, Boys State, and patriotic programs on Veterans Day and Memorial Day are conducted by the members.
The post has an Auxiliary Unit.
