In a small park, by the Mekong river, in the town of Stung Treng, in north eastern Cambodia, is a sculpture of a fish. This fish is something of a local delicacy, costing the colossal sum of us$20kg (in a region where us$100 a month is a good income). The park needs a little care and attention, and the sculpture is in poor repair, however, it is something of a local landmark. The name of the fish is spelt phonetically, based upon its name as given to me by locals. Being a vegetarian I did not taste, but I am assured it is delicious.

Easy to find, near the central market, by the ferry (it is a small town).
